Spring visit 2011

In March 2011 the Yaarah Schools team flew out to Ghana. to continue making progress. A research visit was also made to Northern Ghana.

 

Building progress 2010

By the end of 2010 work was progressing well and the school building was really taking shape. We used builders from the village … but everyone is lending a hand to make the dream come true. A real community effort.

Here’s why we decided to do something. The children’s classroom was no more than a rough shelter. No school when it rains. Chairs only if the children brought their own. But around 200 children who deserved a better start to life.

 

Our first visit to Adaklu Aziedukope, 2009

We were made so welcome during our first visit to Adaklu Aziedukope, a remote village in Ghana. We left determined to help the village and its children. The Yaarah Schools story was born …
