Eager eager eager!

On the bus today I heard a young man complaining about having to go to back to school when the weather was so nice outside, “I wish I could just not go to school for another week and chill out in the sun! The Easter holiday just wasn’t long enough mate!” It made me smile to think that the children of Aziedukope Primary who did not even have one week off for Easter. They went back to school on the Tuesday after Easter Monday. And they couldn’t wait to come back to school simply because they now understand the value of their education, they have aspirations to go far in life and know that going to classes is the only way they can take steps towards them! On one occasion we found Class 2 waiting patiently for their teacher to arrive and so Maire asked to see the last homework they had been set. The picture shows the sudden stampede in her direction her as every student rush to show her how well they had done their homework. This enthusiasm will undoubtedly help carry them through if they keep it up and with our continued support!
