Interesting takes on Courage

So this picture made me smile when someone showed it to me recently! Don’t blame me if you get caught when trying to run!
As we end February I wanted to share some of the quotes about courage that have inspired me:
- “It’s not what you are that holds you back; it’s what you think you’re not.” – D. Waitley
- “Courage is not defined by those who fought and did not fall, but by those who fought, fell and rose again.” – Anonymous
- “Good timber does not grow with ease. The stronger the wind, the stronger the tree” – J.W. Marriott
- “Courage is not the lack of fear. It is acting in spite of it.” – M. Twain
- “One isn’t necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential. Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can’t be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest.” – M. Angelou
- “Start doing the things you think should be done, and start being what you think society should become” – Anonymous
- “The greatest test of courage on the earth is to bear defeat without losing heart.” – R.G. Ingersoll
- “Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says… I’ll try again tomorrow.” – M.A. Radmacher-Hershey
- “Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has courage to lose sight of the shore.” – Anonymous
I hope some of the quotes above help you to start thinking about taking steps forward in your desired directions.
